AW25 Softball

Privacy Policy

Effective October 3, 2026

AW25 is a softball pitching app for athletes and their families: monthly BOD competitions, training, progress tracking, lessons and recruiting tools. It is operated by Walljasper Athletics LLC, doing business as Allie Walljasper Softball (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the AW25 iPhone app and the aw25.app website collect, why, and what you can do about it.

The short version

  • We collect what the app needs to work: your account, athlete profiles, training and competition results, videos you upload, and anything you add to a recruiting profile.
  • We don’t show ads, we don’t sell personal information, and we don’t track you across other apps or websites. The app has no advertising or analytics software from other companies.
  • Many athletes are minors. Leaderboards show only a first name and last initial.
  • You can delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app at any time.

Who uses AW25

An account belongs to a parent or guardian, or to an athlete who is 13 or older. A parent account can hold several athlete profiles. An athlete aged 13 to 17 can have their own account and link a parent to it.

What we collect

Account

  • Email address and password. Passwords are stored in a protected form by our sign-in provider; we can’t read them.
  • Whether the account holder is a parent or guardian, or the athlete.
  • For athletes who hold their own account: birthday, used to work out their age group. If your device shares an age range through Apple’s Declared Age Range feature, we store that range too.

Athlete profile

  • First name and last initial, birthday, division, and team or level.

Training, progress and competition

  • Bullpen sessions you log: date, location name you type, pitch counts, pitch types and notes.
  • Measurements such as velocity and spin, entered by hand or imported from a PitchLogic file you choose.
  • Training sessions from the Train library, BOD workout results, scores, placements and awards.
  • Journal entries: mood, how the athlete’s arm feels, confidence, goals and reflections.

Videos and photos

  • Videos of BOD attempts, uploaded so staff can verify a score.
  • Recruiting clips and a profile photo, if you add them.

We only receive the videos and photos you pick. The app doesn’t read the rest of your photo library.

Recruiting tools (optional)

If an athlete builds a recruiting profile, we store what you enter. This can include:

  • Last name, graduation year, school, travel team, jersey number, city and state, positions, height, GPA and academic interests.
  • Contact details you choose to list: the athlete’s email, a parent or guardian’s name, email and phone, and a coach’s name, email and phone.
  • Colleges you’re interested in, your notes about them, contacts you add, drafts and records of messages to coaches, tournaments, and your recruiting plan answers.

Lessons and recruiting chats

  • Requests and bookings for lessons and recruiting chats with Coach Allie: the athlete, appointment type, time, and what you tell us beforehand.
  • Notes, recaps and suggested next steps that staff write after a recruiting chat.

Membership

  • Apple handles payment. We receive the status of your membership from Apple: which plan, whether it’s in a free trial, whether it will renew and when it ends. We never receive your card or Apple Account details.

Camps and clinics

  • Camps you save, and your notes and reminders about them.
  • If you’re an organizer who submits a camp on our website: the listing details and your name, role, email and phone.

Location

If you allow it, the app uses your location on your device to show how far camps are from you. Your location isn’t sent to us or stored. You can enter a ZIP code instead.

Technical information

Like most online services, our hosting providers record basic request information, such as IP address and time, to run and protect the service.

How we use it

  • To run the app: sign-in, profiles, training, progress and awards.
  • To run the monthly competitions: verifying scores, building leaderboards, deciding results and contacting prize winners.
  • To provide membership access and support.
  • To arrange lessons and recruiting chats.
  • To show a recruiting profile to the people you share it with.
  • To keep the service safe, fix problems and meet legal obligations.

We don’t use personal information for advertising, and we don’t build profiles for anyone else.

What other people can see

  • Leaderboards. Other AW25 members can see an athlete’s first name and last initial, division, scores and placements.
  • Recruiting share links. A recruiting profile is private until you publish it and create a share link. Anyone with that link can view the profile, including the contact details, measurements and clips you chose to show. You can turn a link off at any time, and it stops working immediately.
  • Messages to coaches. When you send an email to a college coach, it goes from your own email app and includes whatever you wrote and attached.
  • Journal entries are for the athlete and the adults who manage their profile. They aren’t shown in our staff tools.
  • Staff. Authorized AW25 staff can see account emails, athlete profiles, submissions and their videos, results, recruiting profiles, bookings, and anything you choose to share for a recruiting chat. Staff changes are logged.

Companies that help us run AW25

We share information only with service providers that need it to do their job for us:

  • Supabase: our database, sign-in and file storage, hosted in the United States.
  • Apple: App Store subscriptions and, if you use it, the Declared Age Range feature.
  • Acuity Scheduling (Squarespace): booking lessons and recruiting chats. When you book, the app opens Acuity’s page with the lesson, time, your contact details and the athlete’s name filled in. Acuity’s own privacy policy applies to that booking.
  • Vercel: hosting for this website and for shared recruiting profile pages.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect someone’s safety, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to it. We don’t sell or rent personal information.

Children and teens

  • Under 13. AW25 doesn’t allow a child under 13 to create an account. A profile for an athlete under 13 can only be created by a parent or guardian, and only after we have verified the parent’s consent. Until verified consent is in place, the app won’t create that profile or save new information for it. If you believe we have information from a child under 13 without consent, email support@aw25.app and we will delete it.
  • 13 to 17. Teens can create their own account. They can link a parent or guardian, who can then see and manage the athlete’s profile. A teen needs a linked parent or guardian before uploading videos or claiming a competition prize.
  • Parents and guardians can review the information in their athlete’s profile in the app, correct it, delete it, or ask us to stop collecting it by emailing support@aw25.app.

How long we keep it

  • BOD attempt videos are deleted 14 days after that month’s results are finalized. Scores and results are kept.
  • Recruiting clips are kept until you remove them or, if you chose that option, until the August 31 after the athlete’s graduation year.
  • Everything else is kept while the account exists.
  • When an account is deleted, its athlete profiles, results, journals, videos and recruiting information are deleted with it. Copies may remain in routine backups for a short time, and we keep a minimal record of the deletion itself.

Your choices

  • See and change your information in the app, on the athlete’s profile and recruiting profile.
  • Delete your account in the app: Profile, then Delete account. This is permanent. You can also email support@aw25.app from the account’s email address and we’ll do it for you.
  • Cancel a membership in your Apple Account settings. Deleting an account doesn’t cancel an Apple subscription for you.
  • Turn off a recruiting share link, or unpublish the profile, in the app.
  • Location and notifications can be turned off in iPhone Settings. The app’s reminders are created on your device.
  • Ask for a copy of your information, or ask a question about it, by emailing support@aw25.app.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional legal rights over your personal information, such as the right to access, correct or delete it. Email us and we’ll respond as the law requires. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit. Access rules in our database limit each account to its own athletes, videos are stored privately and opened only through short-lived links, and staff access is limited to authorized staff accounts. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise absolute security.

Where information is stored

AW25 is run from the United States, and information is stored there.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll update the date at the top and tell you in the app or by email.
